blogUNO-2483GAdvantech’s Industrial Automation Group introduces the latest embedded automation computer to include 4th generation Intel® processor and Advantech’s new modular iDoor technology and fault tolerant Gigabit Ethernet.

The UNO-2483G comes with a choice of three processors (Core i7-4650U @ 1.7GHz, Core i3-4010U @ 1.7GHz and Celeron 2980U @ 1.6GHz) to meet a range of SCADA and surveillance application needs.

For surveillance applications, the UNO-2483G comes with four Intel GbE network ports that provide fault tolerance, link aggregation, and load balancing for network redundancy. One port also supports the latest Intel AMT technology which enables engineers to access the UNO-2483G remotely or if it can’t be accessed through the operating system.

Advantech’s new iDoor technology is a modular way of adding functions to the UNO-2483G. Modules for iDoor systems include: Fieldbus protocol such as Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT and Powerlink; memory expansion and storage; digital and analog I/O; WAN, MAN and LAN communications with Wi-FI, GPS, GPRS and LTE; ancillary modules such as temperature, brightness, smart meters and others.

The UNO-2483G has enhanced graphical performance with Intel HD Graphics 4400/5000 engine and 8GB DDR3 RAM which supports H.264, VC-1, MPEG2, WMV and DivX. It also has two display ports (VGA and HDMI) which can run two monitors and HDMI supports a maximum resolution of 4096x2034, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports and two Mini-PCIe slots.

The UNO-2483G also supports the latest WebAccess 7.2 management software with IPV6 support, SUSIAccess and Advantech DiagAnywhere software applications.
